Tennis squads will send three to state

The Columbia Falls tennis team will send three players to the state tournament this year.
Cloey Ramage battled her way through the Western A divisional bracket to take fourth in girls singles.
Ramage lost to Whitefish’s Lauren Brown 6-1, 6-2, in the consolation bracket. Fourth place still gets her to the state tourney. She’ll play the No.1 seed from the Southwest to open the tournament.
In boys doubles, Cade Morgan and Cody Schweikert dropped Finn Stagg and Jesse Burrough 7-6 (7-5), 6-0 to take third.
Morgan and Schweikert open the tourney against the No. 2 seed from the Northeast.
