May 10

Report of break in and theft inside a residential garage on 8th Street, evidence of footprints entering and leaving property. A property manager tried to get a jeep towed on 7th Street, claiming it was an ongoing issue.

May 11

A concerned tenant on 1st Street reported hearing someone punching the wall outside her window. Report of a reckless driver in a cream colored Isuzu on 9th Street, possibly falling asleep behind the wheel. Report of a gas-like odor coming from a storm drain near the high school soccer fields. Report of a student spraying Axe Body Spray on a bus driver, the driver requested police remove the disorderly student from the bus. Report of a stolen weed whacker on 8th Street.

May 12

Report of a car getting broken into, nothing of value was reported stolen, but the would-be thief did take a bite of pizza left in the vehicle.

May 13

Report of an unoccupied vehicle running over a residential fence on 3rd Avenue, the party responsible offered to fix the damage. A verbal argument turned violent between a couple at a bar on 9th Street.

May 14

Report of a DUI on 13th Street. Report of a stolen motorcycle on 8th Street.

May 15

Report of disorderly conduct on A Street, reporting party was not involved, but told police the incident involved a known possibly violent son was upset and did not approve of his mother’s boyfriend, reports of previous abuse.

May 16

Report of tools stolen from a work site, including a Sawz-all. Woman had a broken arm in wreck on Half Moon Road.

May 17

A store manager reported seeing an intoxicated female drive away in a green Toyota truck with Colorado plates. Report of a possibly known sex offender ramming his four wheeler into the side of a truck, no weapons, escaped on foot near bridge on Highway 2.

May 18

Report of two people taking pictures of kids at a park, turns out they were just Australians on vacation on their phones. Report of a motor vehicle fire on River Road and igniting the surrounding grass, possibly with ammunition in the back seat setting off a “popping noise.”

May 19

Report of some kids being “jumped and assaulted” by some other kids at Columbus Park, reporting parents of alleged victims denied medical attention.

May 20

Report of a man screaming death threats on Nucleus Avenue, reporting party believes is related to mental health and requested he be checked for weapons.

May 21

Report of some kids with broken-down homemade go-karts on Nucleus. They were warned not to drive on public streets and offered to wait until their father came to recover them.

May 22

Report of a disorderly male upset with someone for driving a Tesla. A property manager complained that tenants were smoking on his rental property. Report of an 18-year-old female making threats to ‘fight with’ reporting party, when they returned they found a broken window.
