Track nabs a pair of second-place finishes at ARM

Both Columbia Falls boys and girls track teams took second place at the Whitefish ARM meet last week.

The girls had firstplace finishes from Ally Sempf, who won the 200 and sister Hannah Sempf, who won the pole vault.

On the boys’ side, Jace Duval won the 100 with .03 seconds to spare. Malaki Simpson won the

200 and Hayden Mohr-Mead won the 300 hurdles.

The boys also won the

400 relay.

Other notable performances included a second place finish in the

400 relay for the girls. Courthey Hoerner was second in the 3,200 and Madeline Stutsman was second in the discus.

Rebekah Walker continues to do well, taking second in the pole vault and triple jump.

On the boys’ side, Logan Peterson was second in the 3,200 and Duval took second in the long jump.

Whitefish won the girls title; Bigfork the boys.
