The Columbia Falls swim team took second at the Chester meet over the weekend.
Teaghan Roe and Payson Scribner took first place in the 100 IM and Liam Swank was third in the 100 IM to lead the team in their respective age classes.
Annika Petersen took second in the 50 freestyle and Swank also took third in the 50 free as well.
“We brought a small team of young swimmers, but most of them are our “big dogs,” noted coach Kyle Babcock.
The problem was disqualifications for stroke techniques and other forms.
Babcock said they were working on fixing the mistakes at practice Monday.
The team has the holiday weekend off and then hosts its home meet July 9-10 at the Columbia Falls pool.
