The Blotter: Bikers told they can't camp under bridge, rain or not
June 14
Several bikers were seen trying to escape the rain under an overpass on 3rd Avenue; police informed them they could not camp there overnight. Several reports of water and flooding causing issues for drivers. A homeless woman was seen inside a commercial building, the manager let her stay in the hallway for the night to keep dry.
June 15
Report of a dog jumping onto a vehicle and scratching the paint on 9th Street, the dog’s owner did not want to take responsibility for the damage.

A physical altercation broke out between a couple on 6th Street when she was told to leave and started moving her belongings into the house. On 4th Street, a mother reported her daughter missing, last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a unicorn on it.
June 18
Report of shots fired at a reporting party near Stillwater Bar, unknown relationship between party and the shooter, the shooter had a pistol and a shotgun and was in a dark colored Dodge truck, no injuries reported. Report that someone in the Columbia Falls area threatened to burn down their aunt’s house for buying the wrong house furnishings.
June 19
A man found a bag with someone’s birth certificate in it on 6th Street, later turned into the police station. Report that a known drug dealer who carries a weapon was seen trespassing on a Ring Alarm camera on 7th Street.
June 20
Policing were pursuing animal cruelty charges against a person on Bills Lane for a dog that was left in a cramped kennel and apparently strapped to a boat in the rain with no food or water.
Report of a fight over a stolen bike.
Women were fighting in an alleyway.
