Pedestrian killed on Highway 2 in Martin City

A Butte woman was killed on U.S. Highway 2 near Martin City after she was struck by a car from Coram about 9:12 p.m. Sunday.

According to a Montana Highway Patrol report, the 33-year-old woman was walking in the road when he was hit by a 2011 Camry.

She died at the scene.

Roads were clear. Drugs, alcohol and speed were not factors in the accident, according to the report. The crash remains under investigation.
