Geraldine Briggs

Geraldine Briggs (Geri), 79, of Missoula, Montana, entered eternal rest on Dec. 25, 2021 with her loved ones surrounding her.  She was born Jan. 3, 1942 in Billings, Montana to Eddy and Anne Kittelson.  Geri worked at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula for 34 years before she retired to spend time with family, read books, and travel with the love of her life, Emmett Briggs.

Emmett and Geri met, fell in love, and married on April 22, 1973. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddy and Anne Kittelson; and many aunts and uncles. 

She is survived by her husband, Emmett Briggs, of 48 years; five children, Lavetta (Rick) Mueller of Columbia Falls, Carrie (Dave) Osborne of Columbia Falls, Christi (Mark) Sorenson of Missoula, Ron (Diane) Briggs of Lolo, and Karene (Tim) Fisher of Stockton, Maryland; her brother Gary (Nancy) Kittelson of Billings; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Services will be announced at a later date.
