Swimmers do well at Missoula meet

The Columbia Falls swim teams competed in the Missoula County Public Schools meet Saturday.

The girls were 11th and the boys were sixth in the meet, which featured some of the best swimmers in the state across all classes.

Connor Cheff took second in the boys 100 freestyle and teammate Adam Schrader was sixth.

Cheff was also third the 500 free.

The boys were sixth in the 200 free relay and fifth in the 200 yard medley relay.

On the girls side, Eloise McKeon was 11th in the 200 IM. Sadie Cheff was eighth in the 100 free and the team was seventh in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:56.08. 

It broke the school record. Swimming on the relay team was Kaylee King, Norah Bagley, Cheff and McKeon.

The team has a week off before the state meet Feb. 11-12 in Great Falls.
