Swimmers compete in Great Falls

The Columbia Falls swim team competed in Great Falls last weekend. The boys took fifth out of 11 teams and the girls took seventh out of 12 teams, including AA, A, and B squads.

Notable races included:

Girls’ medley relay — seventh- Emma Stoddard, Sadie Cheff, Kaylee King, Eloise McKeon 

Girl’s 200 freestyle relay — eighth place, Eloise McKeon, Jolie Friar, Sadie Cheff, Kaylee King

Boys medley relay — sixth - Connor Keith Thane Borgan, Adam Schrader, Teagan Bates

Boys 200-yard backstroke relay — fourth — Avic Lime, Teagan Bates, Thane Borgan, Adam Schrader 

“It was an excellent opportunity for our swimmers to race in Great Falls before State,” coach Amy Caudill said.

The team swims next in Polson Jan. 6.
