The Ruder PTO brightened up the holidays for students at the school last week, hosting a Christmas store so kids could grab gifts for their parents and have a visit with Santa.

A host of local folks donated items to the event, including the UPS Store, the Lions Club, the Girl Scouts, Everything Christmas and Glacier Bank.

Dozens of parent volunteers helped as well and the PTO decorated one of the classrooms in the school with the Polar Express theme, including one member dressing up as the famed conductor from the film.
