The Blotter: Man thought someone was trying to stab him

Police were called to assist with an elderly man with dementia on Riverwood Drive who thought someone was trying to stab him. Three young males were taken into custody for shoplifting on 9th Street.

Dec. 1

Medical units responded to a 36-year -old female having a heart attack in her parked vehicle outside of a store on 2nd Avenue.

Dec. 2

A man was reportedly doing drugs in a bathroom at a store on Highway 2. A physical altercation between two males broke out outside of a bar on Nucleus Avenue that began after someone was shoved and ended with a third party bear-hugging one of the combatants.

Dec. 3

A young male received a gash in his head after a sledding accident and was taken to the hospital by the mother. Police were called to assist break up a fight on 3rd Avenue, it was just the result of kids drinking and rough housing inside.

Dec. 4

An unknown black SUV was seen driving around the Montana Veterans Home. Report of noise complaints from an apartment on Diane Road, police were unable to make contact, it just sounded like someone pounding nails into a wall.
