The Blotter: A female in her 20s refused to get up from where she was lying on the sidewalk on Nucleus Avenue

August 16

An incident involving a handgun occurred on 9th Street, no one was injured. A man with schizophrenia was seen spray painting garbage cans on Nucleus Avenue.

August 17

A two car collision occurred on Highway 2 in front of Parkside Credit Union with no known injuries. A 19- year-old female had a seizure on 10th Street and was taken by ambulance to Kalispell Logan Health.

August 18

A landlord reported one of their tenants who let their young children run around the premises naked and in public view, the mother got feisty with the landlord before they contacted the police. Two dogs were locked in a truck with Oregon plates that was off with the windows rolled up on Nucleus Avenue.

August 19

A female in her 20s refused to get up from where she was lying on the sidewalk on Nucleus Avenue, said she did not want to move to the park. A verbal argument broke out when a landlord attempted to evict a male tenant. A man was chased by two dogs on Third Avenue, fended off the dogs using water from a hose.

August 20

A female with glitter on her face jumped into oncoming traffic and started yelling at passing cars on 9th Street, possibly under the influence of drugs, she later went into Subway and made a scene with the manager.

August 21

A couple on Talbott Road came home to find their bedroom window screen had been slashed with a knife. A man was knocked off a boat and floated in the water for about 15 minutes before rescue teams were able to get him out, the man had a life preserver on but suffered hypothermia-like symptoms after he was brought ashore.
