No. 1746 NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that in Flathead County, on September 19, 2022 a special election will be held for the purpose of voting on candidates to serve on a board of five directors of Hideaway Community County Water and Sewer District (the "District"), each of whom is a qualified elector with the District. The following candidates for the office of "director" of the District have submitted a declaration of candidacy in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 - 13-221, M.C.A., and the same conforms to the requirements of said section and the County Election Administrator has examined said declarations of candidacy and has determined that they conform with the provisions of said section: Name Devynn Fetter Shonda Kennedy Dustin Wynn Milly Rohrman Kelly Weigant There are five (5) directors to be elected. The following shall be entitled to vote at this election: an individual who is a qualified voter pursuant to Section 13-1-111, M.C.A., not including subsections 1(a) and 1(c) and is (a) a resident of the District, (b) an owner of taxable real property within the boundaries of the District or, if the property is owned by more than one person, an agent designated by the owners, (c) an individual listed in Section 13-1-506, M.C.A., representing a corporation or company that owns taxable real property within the boundaries of the District, (d) a designated agent for a property held in trust within the boundaries of the District, so long as such individual qualified to vote listed in clauses (b) through (d) above provides written proof of the individual's qualifications to the County Election Administrator at least 25 days before the election. The election will be conducted solely by mail ballot. Ballots will be mailed to all qualified electors in the District on August 29, 2022, and must be returned by each voter, by mail or in person to the Flathead County Election Department, 290 B North Main, Kalispell, Montana 59901, during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), weekdays (exclusive of holidays), August 29, 2022, through September 19, 2022. On Election Day, September 19, 2022, the only place for deposit of voted ballots will be the office of the Flathead County Election Department, 290 B North Main, Kalispell, Montana, which will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. All ballots must be in the office of the County Election Administrator by 8:00 p.m. on September 19, 2022, in order to be counted. All ballots will be tabulated in accordance with Montana law with the preliminary results, if known, expected to be released after 8:00 p.m. that day. A qualified voter who will be absent from the district during the time the election is being conducted may: vote in person in the office of the County Election Administrator as soon as the ballots are available and until 8:00 p.m. Election Day; or make a written request prior to noon on September 18, 2022, signed by the applicant and addressed to the office of the County Election Administrator requesting the ballot be mailed to an address other than that which appears on the registration records. An elector may obtain a replacement ballot if his or her ballot is destroyed, spoiled, lost, or not received by the elector by filling out and mailing, emailing, or faxing back a completed replacement ballot request form or by the elector by personally appearing at the office of the Flathead County Election Department, 290 B North Main, Kalispell, Montana. Ballots may be returned in person at the place of deposit listed above, or returned by mail. If returning by mail, please use the then-prevailing first-class- postage price or one Forever Stamp. Postmark date does not apply; ballots returned by mail must be received at the office of the County Election Administrator by the 8:00 p.m. Election Day deadline to be counted. No. 1745 Foy's to Blacktail Trails in Kalispell, MT is soliciting bids to construct a multi-use, non-motorized, mountain ridge-line, singletrack trail consisting of 5.5 miles of new tread. Work to be performed by mini excavator producing an approximately 40- inch- wide tread to United States Forest Service Class 3 Pack & Saddle trail standards. This project is funded with the federally-funded Recreational Trails Program, as such, contractors are required to follow Federal Contracting Regulations found in 2 CFR Part 200 Appendix II (https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-2/subtitle-A/chapter-II/part-200/appendix-Appendix%20II%20to%20Part%20200). Preferred supplier will be able to begin work no later than September 1, 2022, be able to field multiple excavators, be able to complete project in 2022, be a member in good standing of Professional Trailbuilders Association, and have experience building non-motorized, multi-use trail in NW Montana.
