In tennis, Ramage starts season undefeated

While the team scores in the duals didn’t always go their way, the Columbia Falls tennis team had some fine performances in the past week.
In the top match of the week, Cloey Ramage beat Lauren Brown of Whitefish 6-1, 3-6, 7-5.
Ramage also dropped Dillon’s Emma Mitchell 6-1, 6-0 and last Tuesday, she beat Ronan’s Alyssa Prettyontop, 6-2, 6-2.
The girls blanked Ronan, while the boys beat them 5-2.
Against Whitefish, Orion Barta got a win in No. 2 singles, dropping Neil Bernat 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7) for the team’s lone win.
In doubles against Ronan, Cade Morgan and Cody Schweikert beat Dylan Shock and Isaac Cantlon 6-2, 6-3.
Against Dillon, Morgan and Schweikert dropped Jon Bromlet and Daniel Martin 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).
