Spikers drop Browning and Bulldogs at home

The Columbia Falls volleyball team had a great week, dropping Browning Thursday at home in straight sets, 25-14, 25-22, 25-16 and rival Whitefish Saturday in straight sets as well, 25-15, 25-14,25-21.

The student section came out of the stands to congratulate the team after the win against the Bulldogs.

“There was a lot of energy in the gym today in this cross town match. The girls came out strong with a focus of not letting up,” coach Jolandie Brooks said after the Whitefish win.

Jazzy Marino had 10 kills, 11 assists and five aces in the win over Bulldogs.

Madeline Stutsman had six kills and 10 assists and Haylee Lawrence had eight digs. Demy Rensel had five digs against the Bulldogs.

Against Browning, Rensel and Marino had seven aces apiece, Stutsman had 10 kills, Marino 11 assists and six digs while Madison Collins had three blocks.
