Schweikert has three TDs in win over Chiefs

The Columbia Falls football team thrashed Ronan 42-6 on the road last week to go 2-0 on the season.

The Wildcats were led by sophomore quarterback Cody Schweikert who threw a touchdown pass and ran for two more against the Chiefs. Schweikert passed for 220 yards.

Rowdy White had a 25-yard touchdown run, Isaiah Roth had a 10-yard touchdown run and Mason Peters snared a 66-yard pass from Reggie Sapa for a touchdown to cap off the scoring for the Wildcats.

Kicker Kai Golan hit all of his point-after attempts.

On defense, Schweikert had three interceptions.

The Wildcats square off against Libby at home Friday at 7 p.m. for homecoming.

The Loggers are coming off a 7-0 nonconference loss to Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
