Sempf champ at Cut Bank

The Columbia Falls girls cross country team had another great showing at the Cut Bank Time trials Friday.

Senior Hannah Sempf won the race with a 20.06.65 and Siri Erickson took second with a 20.17.93.
Sempf knocked 14 seconds off her time from the week before at Libby.

The Wildkats took second behind AA Great Falls CMR for team honors.

Courtney Hoerner had great race as well, taking 11th with a 21:54 and Julia Martin was 19th with a 22:41.

The boys placed a respectable fourth. Logan Petersen had his best race of the year, taking fourth with a 17:06. Petersen was 33 seconds faster than his time at Libby the week before.

Quinn Clark took 21st with an 18:42. Caleb Olson took 26th with a 19:01.
