Spikers split the bill last week

Columbia Falls volleyball split last week, losing to Polson in straight sets at home Tuesday, 25-11, 25-12, 25-16.

“They are tough servers and they threw us out of system. They overwhelmed us,” coach Jolandie Brooks said.

But on the road against Whitefish Thursday, they won in five sets,  25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 11-25, 15-9.

Madeline Stutsman had 12 kills and Jazzy Marino had six kills and 26 assists in the victory. Grace Gedlaman had a standout performance, with seven kills and three blocks.
