Someone’s vehicle was blocking a gated driveway. Nearly $5,000 worth of audio video equipment was taken out of a vehicle on Nucleus Avenue.

Someone’s truck, left running with the doors unlocked, was stolen, leading to an extensive car chase that ended after road spikes were deployed. A woman saw someone trying to siphon gas from her truck’s gas tank.

April 27

A woman threatened to pepper spray her ex-husband who may have had a gun and was confronting her over a parental dispute. Someone was creating posts on social media under someone else’s name. A juvenile may have been held hostage for an hour by an adult before running away. Reports of teens driving recklessly fast in a neighborhood. A chihuahua was on the loose.

April 28

A non-injury vehicle accident was reported in case injuries to an elderly father in one of the vehicles showed up later. Someone was trying to get property back from a woman after being in a verbal road rage incident with her the previous day. Reports of a reckless driver driving in the turn lanes and almost side-swiping another vehicle.

A woman was reportedly mocked by a driver who had almost hit her while going through an intersection.

April 29

A red heeler was on the loose, headed towards the Heights. Reports of an intoxicated driver swerving in and out of the ditch.

April 30

A woman was aware she had run over someone’s mailbox and was intending to contact the owners once she was done with errands. A sexual assault nurse at KRMC wanted to speak with a Columbia Falls officer.

High schoolers driving a van were reportedly littering around Red Bridge

Park. Someone was being harassed by a “peeping Tom” neighbor. Kids were suspiciously spray painting the roof of a car.

May 1

A small black bear was sighted in a tree after tipping over a garbage can on Fourth Street West near Second Avenue. An unknown backpack was suspiciously left on someone’s doorstep. A possibly intoxicated man howling at the moon was seen ripping down caution tape from around a construction site.

Complaints were filed concerning a neighbor’s barking dogs.
