Deputies looking for alleged shooter that fled on a moped
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Department is looking for tips in a shooting incident Friday night where the alleged perpetrators were driving mopeds.
According to a press release, the incident began as a verbal disturbance in the parking lot of Junction Gas and Grocery in Columbia Heights about 11 p.m, between two groups of people.
One group was reported to be two males sitting on mopeds. As the disturbance escalated one of the males on a moped allegedly fired shots at the other group of people before leaving the scene eastbound on the mopeds.
There were no reported injuries. Detectives with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate this incident.
