Dwight D. Treat, 75, passed away Feb. 11, 2021

Dwight, known as Ike to family and friends, was born June 21, 1945 in Wisconsin to Don and Betty Treat. The family moved to Montana when Ike was a young boy.

Ike attended high-school in Columbia Falls and then joined the Marines. After his time in the Marines Ike went to work at Plum Creek Plywood for 41 years.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved the outdoors and the ocean.

Ike is survived by his loving wife, Velma Treat. He also leaves behind his son, Hal Treat, his wife Mandy, his daughter Brandy and her husband James Adair; two stepsons Chad (April) and Kevin; three sisters Linda (Ron) Ivers, Wendy (Vinnie) Contreras, and Rosie (Alan) Hill; and his brother John Treat; nine grandchildren, Aaron, Hailey, Colter, Brie, Kasiah, Kayla, Kloe, Tyler and Charlee; and many nieces and nephews.

Ike was preceded in death by his parents Don and Betty Treat, his two sisters, Lora Hanks and Bonnie Bancroft, and his son Dwight D. Treat.

There will be no funeral service at this time.

A memorial gathering will be arranged for the summer.
