Speech wins in Polson

The Columbia Falls speech and debate team took first at the  Polson Piratepalooza Speech and Debate class A tournament over the weekend.

The Wildcats were led by first-place finishes from Griffin Conger in Dramatic Interpretation and in Original Oratory, Raphe Salmon in Lincoln-Douglas debate, and Emma Stephens and Eddie Chisholm who took first in policy debate.

Also placing were:

Lauren Rogers and Kai Lee Cole - second in Policy Debate

Zack Tillman - second in Dramatic Interp and seventh in Memorized Public Address

Aiden Judge - Second in Extemporaneous and eighth in Memorized Public Address

Ruby Davis - third in Humorous Interp and seventh in Informative

Melody McNally - fourth in Lincoln Douglas

Kynsleigh Gould and Eleanor Hollingsworth - fifth in Policy Debate.

Frenchtown was second, Whitefish was third.
