Collision with a deer on Highway 2. Reports of someone attempting to run over another person near the Columbia Falls high school, no injuries reported. A man in a red shirt and suspenders requested a ride back to the Beehive, claimed he had a bad leg and could not walk.

Nov 30

A party bought a fraudulent iMac computer off of the internet. A person was questioned about fighting with a minor, possibly a case of self defense.

Dec 1

A property manager who towed an unregistered vehicle from her land received a threat via email for having the car towed. A minor in possession of alcohol was seen urinating on the Town Pump building.

Dec 2

Report of a reckless driver on Highway 2 seen swerving, nearly causing at least one accident. A male was caught stealing a tool case and other items placed in a baby carrier in a store, was confronted by an employee but escaped. Report of an altercation between a father and 13 year old daughter, possible physical abuse. Attempted theft by a known felon from Lincoln. Report of animal abuse on 6th Ave. A female escaping parole in Missoula was seen near Columbia Falls.

Dec 3

A firearm was stolen out of a vehicle on 4th Ave. A missing chihuahua was found and taken to the police kennel, the dog was then taken to the owner. Vehicle collision with deer left a carcass in middle of 9th St. Report of construction workers loitering while eating ice cream, told to find somewhere else.

Dec 4

Two car collision on Hilltop Rd, no injuries reported. Vehicle collision on 9th St, reporting party stated that the other driver was not very friendly. A vehicle swerved into a ditch on Meadow Lake Blvd, requested a tow. A black lab with bandanna on its neck was found on Beth Rd. Report of a dog dying from rat poisoning, reporting party called animal patrol, but complained that nothing had been done. Report of a vehicle sale, but the purchasing party refused to pay after taking the car. Report of a party’s grandson being shot on 3rd Ave, asked for help and he was checked on, phone disconnected. Noise complaint on Nucleus from music, claimed the bass was too loud. Reports of several gunshots outside of a bar on Hungry Horse Blvd, multiple people involved, resulted from a fight that broke out outside the establishment. Report of a vehicle rollover due to slick roads with four persons in the car, several injuries. Report from a woman complaining that her neighbors were torturing her grandson and sawing his limbs off, law enforcement did not find anything.

Dec 5

A gentleman called complaining he does not get to see his granddaughter. Report of a lost dog on 2nd Ave, dog is a tan German Shepherd-Husky mix. Report of party on 2nd Ave overstaying their welcome at an AirBnB. Report of two intoxicated parties in Franlou Park making a disturbance, no weapons reported.
