More housing planned for Diane Road

| August 25, 2021 7:50 AM

The Columbia Falls City County planning board will look at another multi-plex housing unit project proposed for Diane Road.

A public hearing on the matter is Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers. Developer Adam Gardner is proposing building a 6-plex apartment building.

The building requires a conditional use permit.

Separately, the Cedar Creek Industrial Park is seeking a conditional use permit for a pre-fabricated office and caretakers unit within the industrial park.

That application will be taken up at the same time and place.

People can attend the hearings in person and present comment. Persons are also allowed to submit written comments prior to the meeting. Written comments carry the same weight as public testimony given during the hearing. Written comments may be sent to Columbia Falls City Hall, Attention: Barb Staaland, City Clerk, 130 6th Street West, Room A, Columbia Falls, MT 59912 or via email . For more information on the proposed applications, please call or email Eric Mulcahy, Columbia Falls City Planner at 755-6481 or eric@sandssurveying.com.
