Vera Prichard

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Vera Prichard, 80, of Columbia Falls on Aug. 9, 2021. Vera was surrounded by her family and passed peacefully at her home.

Our mother, Vera, was the strongest woman to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of our family.

In 1958, she married Forrest and the two were inseparable from that time on. Vera is survived by Forrest, daughter, Robin (Richard) Coffin, son Scott (Yvonne) Prichard, daughter Jodi Prichard, 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one sister, Dixie LaValley.

 Vera was an avid gardener who enjoyed bowling, reading, houseplants and camping. Vera and the family were active members of the Rocky Mountain Riders Saddle Club for many years enjoying o-mok-sees and trail riding.

Her ashes will be laid to rest Saturday, Aug. 21, 11 a.m. during a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery. An open house, pot luck will follow at the family home. Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls is caring for the family.
