July 26

A 12-year-old wanted nothing to do with his immediate family and wanted to live with his grandfather, which prompted a call to 911. A person reported losing an envelope of money in a bathroom at a grocery store, but after going through security footage, it didn’t appear that anyone took it. Report of up to $60,000 in counterfeit bills. A guy was digging through old cigarette butts at a place on Nucleus Avenue.

July 27

A vole bit a person, so they called 911. Man speeding on a dirt bike on 12th Avenue West. A transient was living near a business on 12th Avenue and had built a fire. Report of a guy stealing bait from a bait fridge in a store. Report of runaway 13-year-old.

July 28

Report of a possible sexual assault. Kids reported riding around city streets on a four-wheeler. Report of a man who allegedly punched a woman, threatened her with a gun and sprayed her with bear spray.

Report of a runaway juvenile. Report of dogs left in cars. They were both fine.

July 30

A guy playing guitar in his garage prompted a call to police. People said they would turn down their music when the campers across the street shut their generators off. Report of beer theft on Highway 2.

July 31

School sprinkler was flooding new soccer fields. Reckless driver passed party on a double yellow line and nearly put the party into the ditch. A man with Alzheimers went missing. Report of a house playing loud offensive music. Road rage ended up with a fight and a gunshot fired, though no one was shot — several people cited in incident. Irrigation system came on and was soaking campers at the swim meet.

Report of fire near Parker Hill up the North Fork. Car caught fire on Highway 2. Hit and run on Highway 2. Tree fell on railroad tracks. Report of car port blown over by the wind.

Aug. 2

Report of couple fighting at a store. A guy was passed out on the sidewalk on Fourth Street.
