Cross country: Girls win in Thompson Falls

The Columbia Falls girls cross country team had another strong showing, winning the Thompson Falls Invitational last week.

The boys took second.

The girls were led by Lara Erickson with a time of 20:31.74. Hannah Sempf was second (20:54.22) followed by Alyssa Blankenship, ninth, (21:56.08), Emma Upton, 11th, (22:23.55), 4, Siri Erickson, 14th, (22:28.94), Emma McAllister, 15th (22:44.17), Rebekah Walker 17th (22:55.390.

The boys were led by James Role who took fifth with a time of 17:32.81. He was followed by James Peterson, ninth, (17:47.52), Seth Umbriaco, 10th (17:48.009), TJ Jacobi, 18th (no time available) and Bailey Sjostrom, 20th, (18:43.38).
