Volleyball: Kats drop Pirates

The Wildkat volleyball dropped Polson at home Thursday night in three sets, 25-14, 25-22, 25-14.

Mady Hoerner had a huge offensive night with 18 kills and McKenna Rensel had a great defensive night with 17 digs. Dillen Hoerner also had nine kills and Grace Gedlaman had five. Hannah Schweikert had 34 assists and 12 digs. Lauren Falkner had 11 digs. Mady Hoerner also had four aces and two blocks.

The Pirates made the Kats earn it, said head coach Jolandie Brooks.

“Polson is a good blocking team, we had to work hard to find ways around them,” she said.
