Cross Country: Girls win Libby Invitational

The Columbia Falls girls cross country team won the Libby Invitational Saturday.

Wildkat Lara Erickson won the event with a a time of 20:14.7. She was followed by Ally Sempf, who ran a 20:48 and sister Hannah Sempf, 21:09.

Emma Upton took sixth with a 22:34 and Alyssa Blankenship was seventh with a 22:47. Siri Erickson was 12th with a 23:49.

The boys took second as a team.

James Role was third with a 17:44, Seth Umbriaco fifth with a 18:03, James Petersen was 13th with a 19.26, Bailey Sjostrom 15th with a 19.48, Quinn Clark, 22nd with a 20.31 and Colin Smith 23rd with a 20.32.
