Monday, Aug. 24

A resident’s cat set off the house’s security alarm. A vehicle was spotted slowly driving down a street at 3 a.m. with a passenger that would periodically jump out and check if parked cars were unlocked.

A 6-year-old called 911 because her friend told her to, but she was wondering if the “girl officer” that came when the dog ate her chicken was there.

Tuesday, Aug. 25

Report of a 5-year-old missing, she was found.

Report of teens who may have been sexually active with adults. A drunk guy was trying to start fights on First Avenue and possibly trying to get a woman to go home with him from a bar. Woman was yelling at her husband on Wildcat Drive.

Wednesday, Aug. 26

An officer wanted it logged that his body camera had died. There was a minor fender bender on 9th street. Someone was worried their sister was being visited by a man who would shoot her up with an unknown substance that was leaving her out of it and unable to use her phone.

Thursday, Aug. 27

A 70-year-old woman was seen going house to house trying door knobs. A homeowner was irritated that patrons of the Farmer’s Market keep jumping his fence

and sitting on his property.

A man locked himself inside after his friend hit him in the back of the head with his fist. Teens were loitering at a local business.

Friday, Aug. 28

A suspicious looking man was waiting to meet a man who owed him money. A dealer plate was stolen at a car wash.

Someone was selling stolen goods out of a Columbia Falls storage unit. Tools were stolen from the back of someone’s truck. A man tipped a 1,200 pound motorcycle over on himself and got his leg pinned beneath him.

Saturday, Aug. 29

A resident reported an abandoned vehicle on their property that has been there a week. A woman wanted a vehicle outside her home towed because her daughter was visiting, and it’s in the spot where she usually parks. Someone witnessed a brawl at the Town Pump. A mother locked herself inside her house
