Cats playoff bound
The Columbia Falls football team is heading to the state A playoffs.
The Wildcats got there through some help from other schools.
The final game against Butte Central was canceled because Central didn’t have enough players to field a team.
The game is considered a “no contest” and thus a win for the Wildcats, putting them at 6-3 for the year.
Then Dillon beat Whitefish and Frenchtown beat Libby, which assured the Cats a playoff spot.
They now travel to Billings Central, who ended up the No.1 team in the east. Game time is 1 p.m.
