Mitchell on Turning Point

Turning Point USA is an organization filled with millions of students and young people across the country, and is rapidly growing worldwide. Turning Point USA was founded by Charlie Kirk, a highly respected 26 year old who noticed one day that our country was heading in a scary socialist direction. He decided to do something about it, and he sure has. Turning Point USA advocates for free market capitalism and free speech and has thousands of chapters on high school and college campuses across the country.

I’m one of the young people who was inspired to get more involved in politics and it was due to Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA. This organization since its founding has scared the Democrat Party. It has gotten millions of young conservatives to speak up and get involved in the political scene. Completely going against the narrative that Democrats have been spouting for years, claiming all youth in America embrace the Democrat Party and their far left platform. So to attack Turning Point USA Democrats have called the organization misogynistic, bigoted, racist, homophobic, etc. The typical labels

that Democrats have used in recent years to attack anyone or anything that doesn’t fit their narrative.

I’m sure you’ve all received political mailers in your mailbox in the past few months. Some filled with truths, some filled with typical partisan slander and lies, and unfortunately I was the latest victim of slander, lies in a mailer this past week sent out by the Montana Democratic Party. They used these labels and claimed I was the Chapter leader of an organization that has ties to and promotes racism, that I’m radicalized by extremists pushing a hateful agenda, and then also tying myself to white supremacy for being actively involved in TPUSA. If TPUSA was a white supremacist organization it would not be allowed by administrations on over 1,600 high school and college campuses across the country. If TPUSA was a white supremacist organization they would not have dozens African American contributors.

This goes beyond politics, this is an attempt to derail my candidacy and destroy my name as an everyday citizen. In the coming weeks we will be pursuing legal action. The Democrats understand that a young republican is getting involved and it’s scaring them. That’s

why they’re pushing these lies and dumping tens of thousands of dollars in out of state dark money into Columbia Falls, The North Fork, and Canyons areas from donors who have never heard of our area.

They’re trying to stop a small town Montana native from winning this seat against a woman who just moved here from Florida and was voting in Florida in 2016.

I’m asking for your continued support that you have shown for me during the past year. I’m the only candidate born and raised in Montana and I’m the best candidate for the job to uphold the views of this community.
