The Blotter: Cat owner refuses to pay vet bill; pet didn't mean to injure bunny

A car was parked on the street in front of a residence, in the lane of traffic. Reports of a hit-and-run. The driver of a vehicle that contained a passenger having a medical emergency was advised to drive better. Someone’s cat injured a neighbor’s rabbit after it attempted to enter the animal’s hutch.
Nov. 17
A woman wanted a checkup on her husband and dog after her calls were not returned for three days. A man slammed on his brakes to argue with a woman on the side of the road, most likely his girlfriend. A man asked a police officer for a ride into town, when it was explained to him that was not an option, especially during the time of coronavirus, the man became agitated and started swearing at police. An intoxicated man in a bar dropped weed on the floor.

A woman didn’t think it was fair her neighbor was asking her to pay for the vet bill after her cat got into the neighbor’s rabbit hutch, scared the rabbit and it broke its leg; the cat did not mean to hurt the bunny, she said. A girl said a boy pulled a knife on her and her friend, threatening to cut the ropes of the swings they were playing on. A woman believes her neighbors are drug dealers. Someone called after a known registered violent offender began drinking and because the caller was unsure of where the “guns were now.”

Someone’s grandfather stole the title to their vehicle. Reports of domestic abuse. Someone wanted people in a vehicle that appeared to be staying overnight in a parking lot moved along. Reports of a disorderly drunken male on Nucleus Avenue. Reports of a fight.
