Veterans Day assembly goes online

In lieu of the annual Columbia Falls High School Veteran’s Day assembly, the district will instead host a virtual celebration to honor service members this year, due to coronavirus concerns.

The high school has produced a video program featuring student poetry and essays written in salute to veterans, that will be available for viewing online. The video will also contain a compilation of student-written thank you letters, set to the backdrop of elementary and high school choir members singing.

To observe the program, visit the high school’s Facebook and Instagram pages as well as the Montana Veterans Home and BeeHive Homes of Columbia Falls webpages on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
