Planning board to consider coffee shop

Columbia Falls could soon have another drive-thru coffee shop. Judy Morse is seeking a conditional use permit to build and run a coffee shop and bakery on the northwest corner of the Super 1 parking lot.

The request goes in front of the city-county planning board on Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. and the public can comment on the plan at that time.

The full city council will take up the application on Dec. 7.

If approved, this will be at least the eighth coffee shop in Columbia Falls, though not all of them are drive-up windows.
