County orders closures of hair salons, tattoo parlors, barbershops and more

The Flathead County City-County Health Department Thursday issued an order that require more businesses to close due to the covid-19 virus outbreak.

The closure includes all body art shops; all hair, cosmetic or nail salons; barbershops and massage services outside of licensed physical therapists and chiropractic services.

The order is from public health nurse Hillary Hanson.

It goes into effect 11:59 p.m. March 26 (Thursday) and runs through April 10.

As of Thursday, there were five confirmed covid-19 cases in the county.
