Wrestling registration

Columbia Falls Little Guy wrestling registration is Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 4-7 p.m. in the Columbia Falls High School Cafeteria. Wrestlers age 5 through 6th grade are welcome to attend. Please complete the online registration form beforehand if possible. Find it on their Facebook page - (Columbia Falls Little Guy Wrestling) or email us at cflittleguywrestling@gmail.com and they’ll send it to you.

Soccer registration

Spring soccer registration for Columbia Falls is now live. Kindergarten - 12th Grade recreational and competitive soccer. The program now has competitive teams at the 4th-8th grade levels. Nature photogs

The Northwest Montana Nature photographers will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Red Lion Inn Ballroom B in Kalispell. Guest speaker is Kurt Lindsay who will talk about photographing owls.

Wreaths offer

Folks who donate to Wreaths Across America, where wreaths are placed on veterans’ graves at Christmastime, can have their $15 donation matched by the national headquarters if they’re made by Jan. 11. Make checks payable to Wreaths Across America and mail to Steve Armstrong, 439 Grand Drive, Bigfork, MT 59911.

Chamber meets

The Columbia Falls Chamber luncheon is 11:45 a.m. at Cedar Creek Lodge Jan. 14. Lauren Alley and Hungry Horse Glacier View District Ranger Rob Davies will present an overview of forest activities, upcoming projects in the Columbia Falls community, and ways to get involved with your public lands. They will touch on the timber program and economic benefit to local mills, recreational opportunities across the Forest for local and out of town visitors, fuels reduction work in our backyard, and information specific to the Crystal Cedar Project and the Comprehensive River Management Plan for the three forks of the Flathead River.

Business after hours

The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce’s Business after hours is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Columbia Falls High School. The school’s La Cuisine students will cater the event with light hors d’oeuvres and dessert nibbles as well as fresh juice and non-alcoholic drinks to help with those New Year’s Resolutions.
