Tuesday, Feb. 18

Four teenage boys were seen crawling through the back window of a residence, but the owners reported it was OK — the boys were their nephews.

Two young children, a 7-year-old pushing a 4-year-old in a stroller, were walking unattended along the road, reported a woman who stayed with the children until they were attended to.

A fender-bender occurred near Glacier Wallflower and Gifts.

Reports of gunshots, but may have been a car backfiring.

A resident reported loud music coming from the bowling alley.

Friday, Feb. 21

A fire investigator investigating a vehicle fire elsewhere in the county had heard rumors that Columbia Falls may have had vehicle fires recently as well.

A woman called to report that her ex may have been stalking her.

Saturday, Feb. 22

A woman returned home to find her back door wide open when it should have been locked, she checked the residence and no one was inside, nothing was missing.

Someone received a warning for having a tail light out.

An employee was afraid to leave her workplace because she believed someone who may have been on meth was outside.

Sunday, Feb. 23

A very upset woman alleged her husband had lit the house on fire. The neighbors put it out, according to the entry.

Someone reported a woman was threatening to bash her ex-husband’s head in with a baseball bat. Both the woman and ex-husband were reportedly on meth.

Monday, Feb. 24

A renter reported that a landlord had broken into the renter’s residence over the night, taking video as she walked around looking at the renter’s stuff.

A man violated his felony probation with a bond set at $30,000.
