The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce’s business after hours and ribbon cutting is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at Swan Mountain Snowmobiling, 680 Railroad Street in Columbia Falls. The ribbon cutting is at 6 p.m.

The Columbia Falls third annual Job Fair is at the high school from 1 to 6 p.m. March 5. Businesses wishing to participate should register by Feb. 25. The student job fair is from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and the general public is invited from 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. To get more information, call 892-2072 or go to www.columbiafallschamber.org

Backslope Brewing will host the brewery and comedy tour featuring nationwide comedians that are touring breweries across the U.S. The event is 6 to 7:45 p.m. Feb. 20 at the brewery on Highway 2.

An ice fishing class for women only is coming up sponsored by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Feb. 28-29. The class is for the beginner or intermediate ice angler who wants to learn or improve her fishing skills. You’ll learn about ice fishing gear, dressing to stay warm, and how to be safe on the ice. Saturday morning will be fishing on the ice where women can try out ice augers, fishing shelters, and hopefully catch fish. Cost is $15 and registrations forms must be mailed. Columbia Falls Community Kitchen will be serving free, delicious meals in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church at 6 p.m. the last four days of this month. The kitchen is nondenominational and everyone is welcome.

The North Valley Senior Center needs volunteers to deliver Meals on Wheels in the Columbia Falls area. It also needs volunteers at lunch to work in the kitchen. The Meals on Wheels volunteers must have their own vehicle and be willing to drive regularly or fill in as needed. Call the center at 892-4087 for more information.
