Nov. 30

Someone wanted to report the driver of a cream colored Chevy truck who revs the engine at all hours of the day. Someone pocket dialed 911 while grocery shopping. A king-size 3 Musketeers bar and an iced coffee were shoplifted from a Town Pump. An elderly woman possibly with dementia thought she was hearing shots fired from a high-powered BB gun.

Dec. 1

Reports of trespassing. A deer was lying dead in the roadway. A man in a public park was informed of the hours and advised to move along.

Dec. 2

Someone lost a wallet. Someone was illegally burning lawn grass within the Columbia Falls city limits and was advised to extinguish it. Reports of a suspicious looking van driving behind Smith’s Food and Drug. Someone was sleeping in their vehicle.

Dec. 3

A burglar alarm was falsely set off. A student was driving their Subaru recklessly past the high school. Someone received a phone call from a wanted felon out of Texas. A wellness checkup was requested for someone’s 70 year old sister. Reports of a ceaselessly barking dog. Someone complained that their neighbor noisily kept an unoccupied truck running.

Dec. 4

Someone was concerned their neighbor was pouring concrete, they were advised that their neighbor was within city code. A welfare check was requested. A minor vehicle accident occurred on Second Avenue. Reports of a neglected dog. Reports of a drunk customer trying to buy propane. A Third Avenue resident reported a truck ran into the west side of his house. Someone’s neighbor was screaming incoherently while a woman was trying to calm him down. Reports of suicidal intent. A vehicle was towed after hitting a deer, the driver of the vehicle was nowhere to be found.

A semi truck driver parked in the Super 1 parking lot complained a vehicle was parked too closely behind the truck. An intoxicated man wanted the police to remove his girlfriend from his home after she threatened to break everything.
