Blotter Monday, Aug. 17
A man was caught filming a woman at the gym; his membership was terminated. A resident’s Trump Pence signs were stolen from his yard in the night. A man was called in order to return a lost wallet, but this man still had his billfold.
A railroad crossing sign was offering its warning without a train in sight.
An employee walked to her car after work to find it riddled with bullet holes. Someone rifled through a woman’s glovebox and console in the middle of the night, leaving a flashlight on the driver’s seat.
Tuesday, Aug. 18
A man called to report an ex-girlfriend banging on his door but she stopped as he was on the phone; he thought she was waiting for him to end the call before making a racket again. A man questioned about camping out of his vehicle stated he was just waiting for his new job to start and his new apartment to become available.
Wednesday, Aug. 19
A vehicle with broken windows was left in the Smith’s parking lot for over a week. A parked white Tesla with rolled up windows on an 82-degree day had a dog inside who was scratching at the windows, but there appeared to be air conditioning running. A man concerned that he’d been accused of recent vehicle break-ins stated he had an alibi: his ankle monitor. A civil dispute occurred when a woman returned a raft by dragging it on the road.
Thursday, Aug. 20
Construction workers reported a resident showing up to a building site to
yell that her house and furniture were shaking from the vibrations of construction. A dispute occurred over the legitimacy of someone parking in a handicap space.
Someone’s Oakleys were stolen from their car. A suspect was spotted filling up the back of a vehicle from a donation stash. A woman called to report the shaking of her house and fixtures from nearby construction was intolerable.

Saturday, Aug. 22
A vehicle with North Dakota plates was seen swerving all over the road. A found cell phone was left with authorities and retrieved by its owner. A woman called to report her ex was outside her door, angry and threatening; she did admit to throwing burning scraps of carpet into his car.
Sunday, Aug. 23
A resident said his car rolled into his neighbor’s driveway during the night, which seemed suspicious to him, especially since the vehicle was unlocked and now has a flat tire. A vagrant dog keeps killing a resident’s chickens. A black and brown long haired chihuahua was on the loose.
