Sept. 17
Report of more vehicle break-ins on Columbia Drive. Report of child abuse of young boys. Report of kids running over football equipment that was left out, the police caught them and gave them an earful. A woman said a cat or raccoon was hissing at her in her driveway on Fourth Avenue. A woman made multiple calls and hangups to 911, she said she had a seizure disorder and wasn’t drunk.
Sept. 18
Missing orange tabby cat on Fourth Avenue. Complaint about a male sending a woman nasty graphic emails. Man found a bullet hole in his apartment. A person was cited for unlawful discharge of a firearm in the incident. Report of a group of kids on bikes messing with a lock at a business. A woman claimed her husband poisoned her and this is the second time he’s done it. Noise complaint on Nucleus Avenue. A woman confronted a kid who was driving recklessly on U.S. Highway 2. Report of a male who was being abusive to a store clerk store after he was cut off at a local bar.
Sept. 19
Arrows were recovered that had been stolen from a house. More complaints about people camping on a peninsula on the Flathead River at the end of Nucleus. Shoplifters allegedly grabbed a computer out of a store. A husband wanted his wife removed from the house after she allegedly pushed her daughter in the face.
Sept. 20
Report of a man, who was possibly high, wandering around Veterans Drive. Report of a truck camper left in a parking lot on Highway 2, sans truck. People had been living in it for over a week. A man selling the Dish Network door-to-door prompted a lot of phone calls to police. A woman didn’t want to give her kids to her ex because he allegedly was drinking at the South Fork Saloon. Report of a mother giving boys a handful of pot. Report of a drunk driver with children in the car on Highway 2.
Sept. 21
Two employees were arguing, which prompted a call to police. Two steers loose on Fourth Avenue. A shoplifter with a history was detained by a store, the woman didn’t like it much and started yelling. That same salesman was in a another neighborhood, prompting more calls to police. Someone was shooting off fireworks at B Street. Someone left a puppy tied up at store on Nucleus Avenue. A Subaru was going slow down Highway 2 and swerving all over the place. Montana Highway Patrol stopped him.
Sept. 22
A Toyota Landcruiser ran out of gas in the turn land of Highway 2 and was stuck. Report of a person who was supposed to pay for a car, but didn’t. Now the owner wanted it back. Report of a male hitting and using a Tazer on a woman on Diane Road. Report of a reckless driver on Highway 2 that almost hit a bicyclist. Report of black bear on 12th Avenue. Report of vehicles and a city sign that were spray painted on Third Avenue.
