Diane “Laurie” Nytroen

Diane “Laurie” Nytroen was born May 25, 1955 in Grangeville, Idaho and went to be with our Lord Sept 5, 2019 at the age of 64. She will be joining her loving parents Lars and Ruth Nytroen.

Laurie was a fantastic auntie to five nephews and practically raised two of them. She was a self-taught businesswoman and shrewd entrepreneur. She loved to travel and most important in her life was creativity of any kind. Art, sculpture, painting, drawing, home improvement, learning new things.

When the kids were melting down she would whip out the art supplies which were always at hand and do a project with them. She was a woman that preferred solitude and would give you the shirt off her back if needed. A bigger heart you will not find.

To say we will miss her is an understatement, but rather than grieve we wish that God will welcome her to a life free from the pain and fear she has been with for the last several years of these human shackles. We are so proud of the fight she fought against all odds. Incredible strength and will to live and now it is time to let go.

Laurie is survived by her sisters Leslie Edwards of Spokane, Washington and Kristi Johnson of Temecula, California and extended family.

There will be a private memorial for family.
