Sept. 10

A woman said a dog attacked her grandchild and she didn’t want the dog to remain near the child. A woman complained about a reckless driver on Highway 2. A woman was going through the garbage on Nucleus.

Sept. 11

A man said another guy was stealing stuff from his backyard. Report of someone breaking into a house, stealing a credit card and racking up $500 in charges. A man trying to park on Nucleus claims he was almost hit, so he followed the car and then got into a ruckus with the owner. Police said he should call them next time, not confront people. Wreck on Highway 2. When the teens driving the truck that caused the accident heard the police were coming, they fled.

Sept. 12

Report of a female driver with her blinker on sitting in the turning lane on Highway 2, slumped over the wheel. A truck with Nebraska plates a had 10-foot pole sticking out of it with no flagging. A cat in heat was causing a ruckus at an apartment building. A dog treed a bear and her cubs near the river. Report of a suicidal female.

Sept. 13

A host of cars were gone through on Falls Loop Road and a flower pot was broken. Three bikes were reported stolen. Assault on Nucleus. Victim declined medical treatment. Report of an American flag found on a bench. Report of a rig parked in the middle of 6th Ave. The rig was running, but no one was around.

Sept. 14

Someone discharged a can of bear spray in a room at Timber Creek Village. A woman called police because she was worried about a pile of pine cones between two trailers that could cause a fire. Report of kids throwing apples at the fence of the junior high garden. Report of loud music from Gunsight Bar. A woman was reported missing, but she was at the Blue Moon after she found out her husband cheated on her. Report of loud music near the river, may have been a wedding party.

Sept. 15

Report of a husband being verbally abusive, while the husband claimed his wife was crazy. Report of a woman screaming and cursing at a person on Highway 2 at a business when they tried to drop off a donation. A rig ran out of gas on 8th Street.

Sept. 16

Report of sexual assault, though victim didn’t want anything to do with investigation. Report of people living in tents down by the river near Cedar Pointe. Report of a child that was worried classmates would stab him on the bus. Report of a drunk female knocking on doors on Diane Road.
