Report of pesky Corgi puppies that just run around the Diane Road neighborhood. Report of package stolen from porch on 12th Ave. Police told caller to call UPS and make sure it was actually delivered. Report of mail theft on Crescent Drive. A woman sent $100 to a person who claimed she’d get $30,000 in return. You guessed it, it was a scam.

Oct. 22

Car wreck on Talbott Road, Toyota hit a Hyundai, one person had a leg injury.

Oct. 23

A man was threatening to leave a 2 and 10-year-old home alone because he had to go to work. Their mom got them to a sitter. Someone is stealing bikes and then leaving them in various yards around town.

Oct. 24

A caller wondered about a suspicious truck with a trailer at a home off Highway 40. Road rage report on Highway 2. Report a man pointing a rifle at cars at East Glacier Park and he may be headed toward the Flathead. A woman wanted a man who was sleeping on her couch gone from her house. Report of an alleged child molester hanging out with teens.

Oct. 25

A man threatened to sue another man at a grocery store for defamation of character. Fistfight reported on Martha Road was drawing a crowd. A woman threatened suicide by pills, she said she wasn’t suicidal, just drunk.

Oct. 26

A man wanted on a warrant out of Belgrade was nabbed in Columbia Falls. A woman called police to say her ex was tracking her son through his cell phone. Reports of reckless driver on 12th Avenue.

Oct. 27

A woman heard gunshots from what she said was the far end of C Street. The woman didn’t want her name used because it would end up in the newspaper. Dispatch said newspapers don’t print names in law logs. “The Hungry Horse News does it all the time,” the woman claimed.

Oct. 28

A man simply walked away from an accident on Second Avenue. A business reported receiving a fraudulent check. One of those Corgi puppies on Diane Road was left outside. Dog was put back inside. A neighbor planned on filing a formal complaint against the bowling alley — noise was 7 days a week.
