Spikers beat Libby in four sets

The Columbia Falls volleyball team had a light schedule last week. The Wildkats traveled to Libby and dispatched the Lady Loggers in four games last Thursday, 25-21,25-20,25-19,25-15.

Statistically, it was a fairly even match, with the Kats having the edge in kills, 38-31.

Libby had more aces, however, 10-5.

The Kats faced Whitefish at home Tuesday after presstime and then are on the road this weekend at the Missoula Tournament, where they’ll face AA and A competition.

Kills — Libby 31, Columbia Falls 38. Assists — Libby 26,

Columbia Falls 29. Digs — Libby 56, Columbia Falls 45. Aces — Libby 10, Columbia Falls 5.
