Henry Richard Willis “Corky”

Died: Oct. 2, 2019
Corky as a young man worked in the woods of Oregon. He was in the Navy from 1959 to 1963. He married Betty Slauter and had three boys, Sean, Mikel and Tim. He worked union heavy construction up until his divorce in 1969. He moved to Fortine to work on the Trego Tunnel. He loved Montana so much he lived in the state ever since. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a master carving artist. He enjoyed mining for gold as a hobby and was also an avid rockhound. He is survived by two sons, six siblings, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He had a strong love for the Lord.
There will be a celebration of life gathering in June 2020 on his birthday. Family will notify with details.
