Glacier National Park has reopened the Many Glacier Road and part of the Going-to-the-Sun Road on the east side of the park.

The Sun Road is now open to vehicle traffic to Jackson Glacier Overlook and the Many Glacier Road is open into the valley.

The Two Medicine and Chief Mountain roads remain closed at the gate.

The east side of the park saw heavy snow last weekend, so hikers should expect snow on trails in that area.

On the west side, the Sun Road is open to Avalanche Creek to vehicles and to Logan Creek for hikers and bikers.

In the North Fork, the Inside North Road from Polebridge to Logging Creek is closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays due to construction, though people with backcountry permits will be allowed through the closure.
