Report of vehicle being stolen from the Eagles Club parking lot; turned out it was repossessed. A customer passed out at a bar, but reportedly hadn’t had many drinks.
Nov. 13
Report of a male trying to cash a stolen check. Pretty good argument with two guys threatening to kill each other on Fourth Avenue. A woman claimed her phone was stolen at a store.
Nov. 14
Report of two rigs doing brodies on Second Avenue. A guy who was in a ditch called police to say that men in a truck were trying to get him to jump in. He apparently refused their offer.
Nov. 15
Report of car tires slashed on Martha Road. Report of a suspicious male loitering around a house on Second Avenue.
Nov. 16
Report of a man breaking his wife’s jaw and throwing a microwave at her. A person was upset that a neighbor put a mailbox right next to theirs on Fourth Avenue. Neighbor complained about loud music, but police didn’t think it was too loud for 3 p.m.
Nov. 17
A guy who put up a mailbox on Fourth Avenue had it smashed to pieces and the numbers ripped off. A belligerent drunk guy wouldn’t leave a home on 2nd Avenue. Hit and run on Highway 2.
Nov. 18
Call came in about a woman passed out in a car. She was just asleep and apparently lives in her car more often than not. Police took a wayward goose into custody that was in the parking lot of Glacier Wallflower. It had a name tag on its leg that said “honker.” Fish and Game was going to pick up the goose, which appeared to be tame. A girl at the high school was being bullied by classmates.
