Freedom Bank will host a Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours gathering from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the bank. Come unwind and network with other businesses with free drinks, food and gift drawings.
Fraley Talk
On Thursday, Nov, 21, John Fraley will present excerpts from his newest book “Rangers, Trappers and Trailblazers” and a 20th anniversary edition of his book “A Woman’s Way West.” The event is sponsored by the Columbia Falls Historical Society and will begin at 7 p.m., at the North Valley Community Center. Copies of his books will be available for purchase courtesy of Bad Rock Books and coffee and cookies will be served.
Women Meet
Columbia Falls Women’s Connection will have a luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 11:30 a.m. at the North Valley Hospital Community Room in Columbia Falls. Guest speakers will be Angie from Angie’s Greenhouse will share ideas for holiday decorating and Stacy Lujan will share her story of going from a life in the pits to living with joy. Plant talk
On Thursday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. Join Teagan Hayes as she explores Arctic Wild Life: Flora and Fauna of Iceland and Greenland in a talk for the Montana Native Plant Society. Teagan will talk about plants and animals adapted to survive harsh arctic realities, as well some of the fascinating human history of these sparsely populated lands. The talk is at the United Way Main Conference Room at old Gateway Mall, 1203 Highway 2 West, Kalispell. Free and open to the public.
Christmas

The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce’s 12 Days of Christmas event is going on now. Tickets are 1 for $5, or five for $20, to win one of 78 prizes donated by businesses or the grand prize of $250 in Christmas cash. Visit columbiafallschamber.org for details.
Toastmasters
